What is F.I.T.?

The Foundation Implant Training (F.I.T.) group was created to address a critical need in dental implant education, providing high-quality, hands-on training paired with continuous mentorship with a pre-requisite didactic series to prepare for the hands on surgeries. Our experienced faculty understands that dental implantology is a vital addition to your practice, and we’re dedicated to offering a comprehensive curriculum that ensures both patient satisfaction and mastery of essential skills. Join us to enhance your expertise, expand your services, and take your practice to the next leve

Why is the course in Mexico?

Our course takes place in Tijuana, Mexico for several key reasons:

  • Flexible Dental Licensing: While dental licensing is unrestrictive in Mexico, we ensure all participants hold an active license in the U.S. or Canada, which we thoroughly verify.

  • World-Class Facilities: The MINEC Implant Facility is a cutting-edge learning center, equipped with the latest technology and top-tier equipment, providing an optimal environment for hands-on implant education.

  • Convenient Location: Tijuana’s close proximity to San Diego makes travel simple, with easy access from the San Diego airport for a hassle-free experience

What implant system will be taught?

We use the advanced MegaGen AnyRidge and Blue Diamond implant system paired with MegaGen surgical kits for a seamless, high-performance experience. The F.I.T. faculty has years of hands-on experience with AnyRidge, both in clinical practice and in teaching its techniques and placement. As a participant, you'll gain exclusive access to special MegaGen packages, available only to members of the F.I.T. family, giving you the tools to elevate your implant practice

How many implants will I get to place?

While we can’t guarantee a set number of implants for each participant, we provide 3 full days of surgery with ample opportunities to place implants based on our available patient base. We prioritize creating an ideal learning environment with carefully selected cases, featuring 'ideal ridges' to set you up for success. Our philosophy is simple: mastering the technique of placing one implant correctly, backed by the right instruction is far more valuable than rushing through multiple placements without a solid foundation. This is about learning, not just doing, so you’ll leave with the skills and confidence to take your implant practice to the next level

Will I be proficient in dental implants after the course?

We understand that every dentist learns at their own pace and with unique needs. That's why we tailor our course to match each participant's experience, skill level, and ability to adapt to implant surgery. Beyond just completing the course, we’re committed to ensuring you feel confident and comfortable with dental implant placement. Our mentorship and ongoing support extend long after the course ends, so you have the guidance you need to succeed.  Proficiency comes with experience, and this course is the essential first step in building the hands-on knowledge and expertise you need to master implantology
