Roy Burkhalter, DDS
Dr. Roy Burkhalter grew up in Rome, Georgia. He graduated high school in 2006 and joined the Army. He served 15 months in Iraq and on return was stationed in Kansas where he served the remainder of his military career. After finishing active duty, he attended Kansas State University and earned a Bachelors in Nutritional Science. He then attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center for dental school receiving his D.D.S. Dr. Burkhalter went on to complete an Oral Surgery Fellowship at UNMC where he learned advanced Oral Surgery procedures, which include implants, bone grafting, IV moderate sedation, and biopsy services. Dr. Burkhalter is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, American Academy of General Dentistry, and the Iowa Dental Association. He is an adjunct instructor for UNMC dental college.
